Sunstein: Americans too racist for socialism

Defends communism, welfare state but says ‘white majority’ oppose programs aiding blacks, Hispanics

JERUSALEM – The U.S. should move in the direction of socialism but the country’s “white majority” opposes welfare since such programs largely would benefit minorities, especially blacks and Hispanics, argued President Obama’s newly confirmed regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein.

“The absence of a European-style social welfare state is certainly connected with the widespread perception among the white majority that the relevant programs would disproportionately benefit African Americans (and more recently Hispanics),” wrote Sunstein.

The Obama czar’s controversial comments were made in his 2004 book “The Second Bill of Rights,” which was obtained and reviewed by WND.

In the book, Sunstein openly argues for bringing socialism to the U.S. and even lends support to communism.

The problem with a nation like the US where all POV’s can be stated is that many of these POV’s are in direct opposition to the history of the US and its Constitution. People who hold these opposing POV’s some how are sure they’re right even though the nation has become the giant it is without using those POV’s.  Socialism/Communism has worldwide killed more, enslaved more, and destroyed more than the Nazis ever did.  However you won’t hear that from MSM or any Leftist.  You don’t eat your own, as a general rule.

Socialism/Communism have no place in the US and I challenge anyone who thinks different to show me the advantages of Socialism/Communism.  And don’t begin telling me how the ‘disadvantaged‘ need to be helped. Unless you are medically or aged incapable of fending for yourself there is no such thing, as ‘disadvantaged’ in the US.  You can pull yourself up with your own bootstraps like millions of Americans have done in the past and are still doing today.

And what the hell does racism have to do with Socialism?  Not a damn thing of course, but its a ‘good talking point’.  Playing the ‘race card’ is always part of the SOP when you don’t get your way.

As for the rest of the world, let them fend for themselves.  The US should take care of the US first and if there is nothing left for the rest of the world, so be it.  Does anyone actually think the rest of the world would sacrifice for the US if the need came about? I don’t think so!

Government intervention in anything is not the answer, rather its part of the problem.  Giving others the hard earned money of those strive for a better life in not only wrong it leads to well founded resentment by those who feel they are being taken advantage of.

The less government the better, the more freedom of choice the better.  You won’t  however find that with a Socialist/Communist government.
