Blogola: The FTC Takes On Paid Posts

The Federal Trade Commission wants bloggers to disclose when they’ve been wooed with cash or freebies from companies they cover.
SNIP
I’ve touched on this before, but let me make myself perfectly clear, as some people are incredibility dense.
I don’t make a dime off this blog and in fact it costs me money to keep it up and running. Everything on my sidebar was free for me to use or it wouldn’t be there. I’m totally responsible for all content on my blog and that includes any comments on my blog as I approve or disapprove all comments.
People may not agree with me and that’s OK because I don’t make posts to be agreeable. I make posts because I want to do so and can do so. I would never take a dime to plug anything that’s for sale because that would IMO lower me to being no better than the local rag or news sites that shill for products or services.
So you can be assured I’m not plugging anything or anyone and getting paid for it.
