College isn’t for everyone or in fact for a large percentage of the population.  Learning a trades such as plumbing, carpentry, or auto repair can be much more rewarding in both money and lifestyle.  However the current craze of ‘college or else’ is fostered by colleges themselves as a means to feed their coffers.  Plus the sniffing arrogance of those with college degrees over those who work a trade is epidemic.

It’s called the ‘Ohio River’, but Ohio doesn’t own any of it.  Virgina used to stretch from the Atlantic to the Mississippi if you read the original land-grant that included what is now the Ohio River.  Then when West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana became states they got the parts of the Ohio River that used to be Virgina.  Bottom line, if its in the Ohio River, Ohio doesn’t own it.
