God yes let’s get the ‘race card’ out and play it.  Let’s never ever go on proven qualifications or ability!

Well It’s New Years

It’s been my habit for some years now to make a few predictions for the coming year.  I’m not always right, but I’ve got a better track record than the ‘experts’ do.

It will be a bad year for BHO as he soon realizes he has the ‘title’, but no real authority as the Hillary Clinton camp and the Pelosi camp maneuver for position and BHO soon finds himself regulated to ‘ceremonial duties’.

The worst is not over for the economy and business sectors as events this coming Spring will tell.

We’ll still have troops in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2009.  They way well be called ‘advisor’s’ by mid-2009, but we’ve been down that road before.

Israel will still be having it out with the rag-heads with no end in sight.

Iran will reveal that they do have working nukes and the UN and EU will at once fall on their knees and begin to lick Iranian boots and booty.

Civil strife in China and Russia will reach the point of near open revolt.

Civil strife in the US will be limited to a few protests, a lot of talk, and sudden disillusionment with the ‘bright boys and girls’ that were elected to Congress in 2008.

There will be more ‘terror attacks’ by the mad-as-hatters ‘Islamic Moon-bats’.  However I don’t like others foresee a major attack inside the borders of the US.  No I see attacking embassies, hotels, resorts, and other places the ‘Islamic cowards’ can find those who can’t or won’t defend themselves.

I’m not sure about this next one.  There is a 50/50 chance of there being a total amnesty for all illegal aliens in the the US in 2009.  It all depends on how far the economy falls.  The further the economy falls the less likely it is this will happen.

BHO will attempt to bring the US into line with the Commies at the UN, but he’ll fail as open revolt among his own party members facing election again in 2010 will force him to back off.

The current scandal in ILL. over the US Senate seat won’t go away and will lead to other scandals, charges, and counter charges.

Finally I’ll say that 2009 is going to be a grim year for all.  This is of course easy to predict as it seems that grim year follows grim year with depressing regularity.  So eat, drink, and make merry because we may all be broke by tomorrow.

Rahm Emmanuel Must Resign

Big developments out of Illinois as Governor Blagojevich defies everyone and announces former Illinois Atty. Gen. Roland Burris (Democrat) to replace Barack Obama in the U.S. Senate.

Also, Rahm Emmanuel has finally resigned from his congressional seat (a move that many had wondered why it took him so long), and announced his resignation the day after we launched the “Rahm Emmanuel Must Resign” petition drive over his involvement in the Obama Senate seat corruption scandal.

Now it is time for Emmanuel to similarly announce that he will NOT be serving as White House Chief of Staff in light of his dishonesty and questionable conduct in the corruption scandal.  Insetead of apologizing for his conduct and stepping down, it has been announced that Rahm Emmanuel’s brother, Ezekiel Emmanuel, will be joing the White House.

This is the paragraph that I can’t get out of my head:

Hamas had in recent weeks let it be known that it doubted Israel would engage in a major military undertaking because of its coming elections. But in some ways the elections have made it impossible for officials like Mr. Barak not to react, because the public has grown anxious and angry over the rocket fire, which while causing no recent deaths and few injuries is deeply disturbing for those living near Gaza.

No deaths and few injuries. “Deeply disturbing.” Hamas lacks the technology to aim its rockets. They’re taking potshots. In response, the Israeli government launched air strikes that have now killed more than 280 Palestinians, injured hundreds beyond that, and further radicalized thousands in the Occupied Territories and millions in the region. The response will not come today, of course. It will come in months, or even in years, when an angry orphan detonates a belt filled with shrapnel, killing himself and 25 Israelis. At which point the Israelis will launch air strikes killing another 70 Palestinians, radicalizing thousands more, leading to more bombings, and so the cycle continues.

The rocket attacks were undoubtedly “deeply disturbing” to Israelis. But so too are the checkpoints, the road closures, the restricted movement, the terrible joblessness, the unflinching oppression, the daily humiliations, the illegal settlement — I’m sorry, “outpost” — construction, “deeply disturbing” to the Palestinians, and far more injurious. And the 300 dead Palestinians should be disturbing to us all.

There is nothing proportionate in this response. No way to fit it into a larger strategy that leads towards eventual peace. No way to fool ourselves into believing that it will reduce bloodshed and stop terrorist attacks. It is simple vengeance. There’s a saying in the Jewish community: “Israel, right or wrong.” But sometimes Israel is simply wrong.

I always dispute the idea of disproportionate response whether it concerns individuals or nations.  I see it they way.  Someone slaps you across the face.  Yes just an open handed slap.  So do you respond by (A) Turning the other cheek.  (B) Slapping the other person in the same manner you were slapped.  (C)  Picking up the nearest blunt object and beating the other person severally about the head and shoulders.

If you didn’t pick (C) you’re either dumber than a box of rocks or a complete coward.  There is no such thing as disproportionate response when it comes to self defense.  You go for the throat and the gonads and you do so with as much savagery as you can muster.

The rule of thumb is this.  When you defend yourself you are also sending a message to others who might be considering slapping you or worse.  The message has to be, “YOU F–K WITH ME AND I’M GOING TO HURT YOU, BAD!”

So many of the ’so called problems’ of the late 20th century and early 21st century could have been resolved or avoided if the bullies and troublemakers knew beyond a shadow of doubt that if they injured another the retaliation would be immediate and overwhelming.  As you might guess I do not believe in negotiation and attempting to make nice with those who wish you harm.  This attitude has always served me well in my private life and I still at age 62 practice it today. 

If the choice is between being liked, sneered at, or feared I’ll take feared every time.

Israel Gets Slammed Again for Defending Itself

         In a world view increasingly dominated by Islamic and socialist propaganda, reaction to the latest Israeli-Hamas conflict would be almost funny if it weren’t so tragic.  No matter what the facts are, the Arabs are always made to look like the innocent victims and Israel the aggressor.

        The liberal world media is only too happy to promote the anti-Israeli view by looping over and over the television scenes of carnage and destruction rained down on the innocent Islamic victims by the Israeli bullies.

        You may recall seeing scenes of carnage by Israeli bombing attacks against Hezbollah in 2006, often with the same actors appearing in rescue efforts in different parts of Southern Lebanon.  In one unauthorized civilian video, the actors actually got up and walked away laughing after they had been brutally shot dead or blown up.

        Without fail, the Islamists always exaggerate the damage and claims of “innocent civilian victims killed” in Israeli attacks.  As we’ve seen so many times before, the actual numbers of civilian deaths turn out to be only a small fraction of what the Arabs claim, and in many cases, were not even the responsibility of Israel. The fact of the matter is: when it comes to the killing of Islamic terrorists, not even their own government knows who is a civilian and who is a combatant. Terrorists usually are civilians until they become corpses.

        Since Hamas‘ refusal to renew the six-month Egyptian-negotiated truce three weeks ago, Israel has been pounded with over 400 rocket and mortar attacks from the Gaza strip.  Where were the outcries from the socialist media mouthpieces then?  Only when Israel was forced to counterattack in its own defense did the media think it worth reporting on.

        But what did they choose to report? Just every last line of propaganda coming out of the Arab world and accusing Israel of aggression and the killing of hundreds of innocent civilians–just as they reported during the Israeli war with Hezbollah.

        But what is even more noticeable is how the Islamics and socialists all wait until Israel gets the upper hand, then they start calling for cease fire and U.N. intervention before Israel is able to finish the job.  Never do we see any international calls to protect Israeli citizens from Palestinian terrorism, only calls to protect Islamic militants and civilians who get too close to the action.

        It’s the standard operating tactic of Islam to use false media propaganda to rally world sympathy to its side and against Israel.  Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said in a statement that the Israeli attack was “proof of the aggressive attitude of the Zionist regime.”  But I guess the attacks by Hamas, that prompted the Israeli attack, don’t mean a thing.

SOS-DD!  Now I’m not Jewish, an American Christan Fundamentalist, nor have I ever been to Israel.  However I’ll be damned if I would allow my neighbors to shoot through my house without making them pay the penalty in blood.  If I were in charge in Israel there would be no more ‘ceasefires’ and no more talk.  Damn what the ‘Islamic Leftist Propaganda Machine’ says or does.  There is only one way to deal with Islamic terrorists and that’s to give them a free trip to their 72 virgins, ASAP.

If Congress had to face the same scrutiny that they impose on corporate CEO’s, they’d all be going to jail. As a result of their past fiscal malfeasance, more economic challenges loom on the near horizon. Because there’s no Social Security Trust Fund set aside to pay for benefits, the exploding demands of retiring baby boomers leaving the workforce will add to our economic nightmare. Large states, heavily dependent on income and corporate tax revenue and strapped with entitlements and government employee pension commitments, are facing what Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has called a “financial Armageddon!”

As layoffs result in more people losing healthcare coverage, the pressure to provide a government alternative will increase. Corporations, needing to cut costs and unwilling to pay the increased healthcare coverage costs, will cancel their private plans, forcing workers to participate in the cheaper, under-funded federal alternative. With Medicare already a budget-buster, the mushrooming cost of Obama’s federal healthcare plan will just add to the deficit.

It’s already begun in many states and cities, as citizens are told they must pay more for less.

The Fed’s will in fact jump on this bang-wagon in the near future.  Taxes will go up and services will go down.

The only answer for all this is to cut back on the entitlement programs, stop assuming that government can fix anything, and radically reduce the size of all government from local to federal.

Congress’s Plan to Reinstate Censorship

The Coming Democratic Power Struggle

The Dem’s Commies are about to do what the Repub’s just finished doing.  It works like this.  You cobble together a coalition of all those who want ‘change’ or all those who want ‘the status quo’ and charge ahead with one purpose.  The problems arise when that purpose has been achieved and the euphoria of winning fades.  Suddenly coalition members look around and realize they have little or nothing in common with other coalition members.  Then the coalition begins to fragment as coalition members being to do the unthinkable, seeking support from those they so recently defeated.

The way I see it there are several main coalition groups in the Dem Commie camp.  The Obama-adorations camp, the far moon-bat Left camp, the Clinton camp, and the Pelosi camp.  None of these various camps ‘like each other’ and as they jockey and via for position the coalition will begin to fragment.  The administration of the ‘Anointed One’ isn’t in ‘history in the making’ its ‘history repeated’. 

P.S.  I put my money on the Clinton Camp.
