Spread The Wealth
October 28th, 2008 . by BastiSpread The Wealth
Today on my way in to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money.” I thought it was funny. At least he was honest.
Once in the restaurant, my waitress had on a ‘Obama 08′ tie. I chuckled because she had given away her political preference. I have already voted so I don’t care anymore because there is nothing I can do.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the waitress and explained to her I was following the Obama’s redistribution of wealth plan. She stood there while I told her I was going to give her tip to someone I thought more in need–the lazy ass homeless guy outside.
She huffed away, I didn’t see her again.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $4 and told him to thank the server inside because I decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful. He looked thirsty.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to embrace in concept.
Kind of like Christmas it’s really more fun to get than to give.
It doesn’t much matter who wins the election. Either way the American public is about to put a bozo in the White House. But every American can help by paying money earned by one person (tips especially work) to a different person who hasn’t lifted a finger.
Spread the B/S, err wealth.
