In other words, “Yeah it was wrong and yeah we should have caught it, but its done so bail us out and we’ll talk about punishment later, (And pigs might fly) because if Congress doesn’t bail us out we’re going down the tubes.” IMO the surest way to see that this doesn’t happen again is not to bail them out and let the bastards drown. I won’t be the end of the world, but a lot of people that should suffer will suffer!
