Profiling Hard to Prove

I’ve never understood why ‘profiling’ is such a no, no?  Something gets blown up and the cops have a detailed description of the perps.  Male, swarthy complexion, beards, wearing towels on their heads.  Or black males all over 6′.  Now tell me you’re gonna stop a white grandma or a white midget?  Or the cops see a car full of blacks or Hispanics in an all white neighborhood at 2AM.  Are the cops suppose to think these guys are just out for an early morning drive?  I say profile and damn those who don’t like it, as they most likely don’t like it because they were up to no good or were about to be up to no good.

I don’t buy this!  The Russian military has always sucked.  If the Russkies hadn’t had more troops then the Germans had bullets and the US & UK hadn’t been helping the Russkies then German would now be the language spoken in Moscow.  The Russkies weren’t able to handle a few tribesmen in Afghanistan and their recent effort in Georgia against a non-rated power have been less than impressive.  This article sounds just like the ones that were all the rage during the 50′s, 60′s, and 70′s.  Then we found out later that the Russian military was a paper tiger.
