Much has been made about how ancient man was close to nature and respected the earth.  That’s not true as man hasn’t changed since day one.  The only thing that has changed is our ability to kill more and kill quicker.

Gas more affordable than it was during early ’60s?

Here we go again with equations that look like they’d be at home in an algebra test, but make little or no sense to the man on the street.  Take it from a man who lived through the 1960′s gas is way more expensive now then it was then even factoring in the devaluation of the dollar.  In 1966 the year I was married gas around here ran from 25 cents to 29 or 30 cents a gallon and I never even gave gas prices a thought.  It wasn’t until ‘Tricky Dick’ and his minions invented the ‘gas shortage in the 1970′s that gas prices began to climb at an accelerated rate.
