New Rules For 2007

New Rules For 2007

New Rule: Stop giving me that pop-up ad for classmates.com! There’s a reason you don’t talk to people for 25 years. Because you don’t want to! Besides, I already know what the captain of the football team is doing these days, standing on back of the city trash truck.

New Rule: Don’t eat anything that’s served to you out a window unless you’re a seagull. People are acting all shocked that a human finger was found in a bowl of Wendy’s chili. Hey, it cost less than a dollar. What did you expect it to contain?? Trout?

New Rule: Stop saying that teenage boys who have sex with their hot, blonde teachers are permanently damaged. I have a better description for these kids: lucky bastards.

New Rule: If you need to shave and you still collect baseball cards, you’re a dope. If you’re a kid, the cards are keepsakes of your idols. If you’re a grown man, they’re pictures of men.

New Rule: Ladies, leave your eyebrows alone. Here’s how much men care about your eyebrows: do you have two of them? Okay, we’re done.

New Rule: There’s no such thing as flavored water. There’s a whole aisle of this crap at the supermarket, water, but without that watery taste. Sorry but flavored water is called a soft drink. You want flavored water? Pour some scotch over ice and let it melt. That’s your flavored water.

New Rule: Stop screwing with old people. Target is introducing a redesigned pill bottle that’s square, with a bigger label. And the top is now the bottom. And by the time grandpa figures out how to open it, his ass will be in the morgue. Congratulations, Target, you just solved the Social Security crisis.

New Rule: The more complicated the Starbucks order, the bigger the asshole. If you walk into a Starbucks and order a “decaf grande half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice with one sweet-n’-Low, and one NutraSweet,” ooh, you’re a huge asshole.

New Rule: I’m not the cashier! By the time I look up from sliding my card, entering my PIN number, pressing “Enter,” verifying the amount, deciding no, I don’t want cash back, and pressing “Enter” again, the kid who is supposed to be ringing me up is standing there eating my Almond Joy.

New Rule: Just because your tattoo has Chinese characters in it doesn’t make you spiritual. It’s right above the crack of your ass. And it translates to “beef with broccoli.” The last time you did anything spiritual you were praying to God you weren’t pregnant. You’re not spiritual. You’re just high.

New Rule: Competitive eating isn’t a sport. It’s one of the seven deadly sins. ESPN recently televised the U.S. Open of Competitive Eating, because watching those athletes at the poker table was just too damned exciting. What’s next, competitive farting??? Oh wait!? They’re already doing that. It
was called “The Howard Stern Show.”

New Rule: I don’t need bigger mega M&Ms. If I’m extra hungry for M&Ms, I’ll go nuts and eat two.

New Rule: If you’re going to insist on making movies based on crappy, old television shows, then you have to give everyone in the Cineplex a remote so we can see what’s playing on the other screens. Let’s remember the reason something was a television show in the first place is that the idea wasn’t good enough to be a movie.

New Rule: No more gift registries. You know, it used to be just for weddings.  Now it’s for babies and new homes and graduations from rehab. Picking out the stuff you want and having other people buy it for you isn’t gift giving, it’s the white people version of looting.

New Rule: and this one is long overdue: No more bathroom attendants.  After I zip up, some guy is offering me a towel and a mint like I just had sex with George Michael. I can’t even tell if he’s supposed to be there, or just some freak with a fetish. I don’t want to be on your web cam, dude. I just want to wash my hands.

New Rule: When I ask how old your toddler is, I don’t need to know in months. “27 Months.” “He’s two,” will do just fine. He’s not a piece of cheese. And I didn’t really care in the first place.

New Rule: If you ever hope to be a credible adult and want a job that pays better than minimum wage, then for God’s sake don’t pierce or tattoo every available piece of flesh. If so, then plan your future around saying, “Do you want fries with that?”

Man claims key Lockerbie evidence was faked     The powers that be, who run the Western world must be the most intelligent people the world has ever known.  I mean managing all these conspiracy’s one after the other and keeping it all straight in their heads!  WOW!  I just stand in awe!

Immigration Could Add 100M to U.S. by 2060     We have got to lock the doors, ASAP!

Iowa Judge Strikes Down Gay Marriage Ban     And this is in the heartland folks!  The queers never rest in their quest to legitimize their perversion.  (The pedophiles are following this example)

Va. Tech President Defends Himself     His best defense would be his resignation.

China Approves Seizure of Private Homes     Sounds just like the good old USA, doesn’t it?

Plane Carrying Three Senators Attacked By Rocket-Propelled Grenades…     Keep these grandstanding politicians at home where they belong!  I’d hate to see our brave USAF personnel and a valuable C-130 shot down just because these assholes have to get in the way!

Bush Outlines Aid to Mortgage Holders…    NO BAILOUT…    Bernanke Says Fed Will Do What’s Needed     Three headlines and one of them is a lie!  Hint:  It starts with the word ‘NO’.  I remember the S & L bailout and started just like this.

Rumors multiply of ‘GOOGLE Phone’ launch…     Just what we need another phone service or non-service as the case may be.  Not so long ago phone service and the phone book were some of the few things in this country that weren’t FUBAR.  Then the Fed’s stepped in and like a shade-tree  mechanic ‘fixed’ what wasn’t broken by breaking up Ma-Bell and then deregulating it all.

Lawyers Debate Death Penalty in Slaying    BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — “A man accused of murdering and dismembering a woman should not face the death penalty because taking her victim’s body parts was not “robbery,” his attorney argued.”

“Sean Vincent Gillis, accused of killing eight women between 1994 and 2004, faces first-degree murder charges in the February 2004 death of Donna Bennett Johnston. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second-degree murder last week in another of the deaths.”

Anyone who read the above paragraphs and still believes we have a system of justice in this country or the rule of law is a fool!  Pay my expenses to LA and I’ll execute this guy in about 20 seconds and be home in time to post on this blog.

There Is No Double Standard

There Is No Double Standard

“It is the Republican base and Republican leaders who hold Republican politicians to the higher standard.  Conservatives expect the Republican Party to remove the sexual deviants from its ranks.  Liberals have no moral standards, so it is impossible for a liberal to be challenged on standards.”

One paragraph and it says it all.  Liberals can never make any judgments or comments on moral issues, because they have no morals!  I really enjoyed making that comment!

An Open Letter of Sorts to New Orleans

August 31st, 2007 . by Basti

An Open Letter of Sorts to New Orleans

This is really getting tiresome.

Before Katrina or “pre-K” as the locals say, Ventura worked in real estate and owned several rental properties. But all of that changed when the levees broke. Storm surge from Lake Pontchartrain inundated their house with 7.5 feet of water. The couple were displaced, and to make ends meet Ventura took a temporary job as a loss verifier for the Small Business Administration. His wife continued her studies in occupational therapy. Ventura, like many others, feels like New Orleans has been forgotten.

“America really doesn’t give a s*** about New Orleans. We forget. The bridge that collapsed [in Minnesota] — it’s gone, it’s yesterday’s news. The miners — if they’re not digging a sixth hole, we forget about them. We as a society, we really don’t give a damn,” Ventura said.

In the two years since the hurricane hit, Congress has appropriated $114 billion to the rebuilding of the region. Church groups and missions organizations from across the country send crews there on a regular basis to help rebuild and clean up the storm damage. The Red Cross spent about $2 billion in the region after the storm. World Vision spent $12 million. The Salvation Army spent $84 million. Volunteers from Samaritan’s Purse and Habitat for Humanity have been there since the storm, fixing houses. Countless other charity organizations have also spent significant time and money in the region. There comes a point where charity has to end, and some of the city’s residents have to make the conscious decision to start rebuilding their neighborhoods and lives instead of spending so much time blaming everyone else for the lack of progress in recovery. We’re a generous nation, and we’ve demonstrated that in New Orleans.

I know this rant seems unsympathetic, but all I ask is that the complainers (and the mayor) who talk to the media stop insulting the country that has given them so much. We do care, we do want to help. And a special note to “The Deciders” - it would be nice to see just one story where New Orleans residents thank America for its generosity instead of calling us cheap and asking for more, more more. As noted in the comments, those people exist. How about doing some, you know, reporting and less narrative-setting?

We’ve given them a lot of fish. Time for the complainers to pick up the net.

Note - Made some changes to keep from sounding as though I’m indicting the entire population of the city

Found @ Ace of Spades http://tinyurl.com/3cl4as

Sigh!  A $100 billion has already been poured down the crayfish hole that is NOLA and still no joy in Mudville.

I see this whining and carping as a sign of the times.  It’s all about me, fix, help, make right what upsets me!  It’s juvenile in all respects and its what we have been led to expect, someone will fix it all and make it all better again.

Katrina, the bridge in Minneapolis, the mine collapse in Utah and now the housing debacle.  And before that it was hurricane Andrew and Ivan and the SF quake, and 9/11.

Now I’m not saying that any of these events were caused by the people who have had to endure them and its a shame that these people have to suffer, but when is enough, enough?  You can’t beggar the rest of the nation to fix in detail what is broken in one part of the nation.  There is only so much money and human effort that can be put into anything.

One of the best comments I’ve heard of late concerns the mine collapse in Utah.  A man was saying that losses have to be cut, the trapped miners can’t be recovered and its foolish to risk more lives to try and do so.  The comment came back, “What if it was your father or brother down there?”  The counter comment was, “What if it was your father or brother who had to risk his life to find the remains of the miners?”

It’s a hard fact of life that bad things happen to good people, however you have to gut it up and take acceptable losses.  Some will say that no losses are acceptable.  The latter is not true and never has been, you have to face hard facts and move on.  That’s what being an adult is all about the ability to take a gut shot and then straighten up morn your loses, put your game face on, and move on.  But we don’t move on in the nation any more we just whine, carp, and kvetch about something that happened months, years, or decades ago.

FBI Investigates String of Store Threats…     (See acting like sheep)

RNC pushing China-spy angle on Hillary donor…     This was my first thought when I saw this guy was Chinese.  The Clinton’s have a history of taking money from ChiComms.

Survey: Fewer than half of scientists endorse man-made global warming…    Doesn’t matter the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Britain remembers Diana, ten years on…    Can we just move on from this?  The British Royalty and titles  are anachronisms and Diana was just ‘role playing the part’.

Mexican Trucks Begin Crossing Border Saturday…     This is not just a bad idea, its criminal!

SHOCK: CLAIM: Only ten minutes on a cellphone could trigger cancer…     This comes from the Daily Mail in the UK and they specialize in headlines that you see while waiting to check out at the the grocery store.  (Three headed boy found living with Elvis in Duluth MI)

China: Toy recall scare shows U.S. protectionist agenda…     What it shows is we should never have done any business with these Commie bastards in the first place!

Unnamed players allege corruption in professional tennis…     This comes as no surprise as all professional sports are corrupt and many non-professionals as well.  The money that’s bet on sports guarantees there will be corruption.

Contractor Deaths Push Total U.S. Toll in Iraq Near 5,000     Since when did we start counting ‘mercs’?  ‘Mercs’ aren’t US Military and are paid way more than the US Military and they are there for the money.  (It’s tax free and many times paid in gold to a numbered account in a nation of your choice)

Poll: US Shares Blame for China Products     Actually the US is completely to blame.  We never had to start trading with these Commie bastards, but we did so the profit margin could be increased.  The frigging Commies/American business don’t care if they sell dangerous products in the US!  Hell that’s just good business practice, it was all made cheap!

Deportees Use Revolving Door to Return to U.S.     First time deport them.  Second time lock them up for 5 years and then deport them.  Third time just shoot’m and toss them in the Rio Grand.

Blood in the Water: Katrina and the Death of the Common Good     Bush II is responsible for a lot of things, but Katrina and the aftermath of Katrina isn’t one of them.  You take a sinking city, built in what was a swamp, and add a hurricane; that’s a recipe for disaster and a disaster is what happened.  Now people want to compound the disaster by rebuilding NOLA so that the next hurricane that comes that way will have something to work with!

Turkish TV urged to censor film of Israeli soccer fans cursing Prophet Muhammad     Boo-hoo!  The rock-worshiping moon-bats are offended again!  When you act like a simple minded superstitious peasant from the 7th century, you’re going to be offended a lot.

Conspiracy Theories, Myths, Skepticism, and 9/11: their Impact on Democracy     There can be no impact on what does not exist nor has ever existed.  (Democracy does not now, nor has it ever existed in the Western world)

5100 BOY SCOUT LEADERS REMOVED FOR ABUSE     You show me an adult who wants to be around masses of children and I’ll show you a pervert!  I’m telling you its not natural to do this!  If I’ve offended anyone by saying this, I don’t really care.  I’m into truth without the sugar coated b/s you see daily.

Announcement Of 9/11 War Crimes Tribunal     More tin-foil-hat nonsense by people who don’t have anything in this, but their big frigging mouths!

It Takes A Village (To Raise The Village Idiot)

August 30th, 2007 . by Basti

It Takes A Village (To Raise The Village Idiot)

I went shopping today just like I do every Thursday.  I needed two cans of spray varnish, so I picked them up at Wal-Mart.  As I’m checking out the cashier asked for my birth-date and I said no.  I thought she wanted it for some promotion or other.  Turns out I have to give out personal information before I can buy spray paint or varnish, because young people are huffing it along with many adults.

It’s not just paint/varnish, its also cold medicine, booze, tobacco, grandma taking her shoes off before she boards a plane, security cameras recoding your every move, etc, etc.  Once upon a time in this country we only punished the people who committed crimes, now we punish society at large because of the actions of a few scum-bags.  I’ve been carded for booze, tobacco, and now varnish and I’m 62 years old.  Something isn’t right here and outside of myself and a few others no one complaints.  (See The Pussification Of The Western Male.)

My theory is this.  Human beings aren’t’ on the endangered species list.  One human dies, make another one, look just like the one who died.  If people want to huff paint or make meth or jump off a bridge, I say let’m do it.  It’s called ‘culling the herd’.  Yes I’m a cold bastard, however I tell it like it is, with no sugar coating!

As for the security at airports, how about just banning Muslims from flying into or out of the US!  It wasn’t blonde haired, blue eyed Danes who hi-jacked the planes on 9/11/01 it was Muslims who looked like the camel humpers they are.

Security cameras aren’t going to prevent crime any more than cops prevent crime.  Security cameras might allow you to see who did what, but that’s cold comfort for you if your dead.  Cops also don’t prevent crime, they just attempt to find out who did what to who and how.  A well armed citizenry prevents crime by killing the scum-bags or making it so dangerous for scum-bags they don’t commit crimes.

sarcasm.gif Meanwhile back at the ranch while we’re securing Americans from the horrific dangers of paint huffing and meth making the US/Mexican border is still wide open and millions of illegals are loose in America. Drugs are pouring over the border and armed gangs are protecting the drug dealers.  I’d like to see government put half the effort into deporting all illegals, killing all the drug dealers/users and securing the borders, that they’ve put into protecting us from the horrors of suicide, paint huffing, meth making, and looking for shoe bombs.

Tag’s Not So ‘It’ Anymore (FOX News)

Tag’s Not So ‘It’ Anymore  (FOX News)

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. —  An elementary school has banned tag on its playground after some children complained they were harassed or chased against their will.

It causes a lot of conflict on the playground,” said Cindy Fesgen, assistant principal of the Discovery Canyon Campus school.

Running games are still allowed as long as students don’t chase each other, she said.

Fesgen said two parents complained to her about the ban but most parents and children didn’t object.

In 2005, two elementary schools in the nearby Falcon School District did away with tag and similar games in favor of alternatives with less physical contact. School officials said the move encouraged more students to play games and helped reduce playground squabbles.

Recently I posted an article about the The Pussification Of The Western Male.  However this isn’t just about males this is about society in general and the entire concept of, ‘we don’t like that make them stop!’  IMO, this sort of thinking leads directly to passengers allowing a few scumbags with box cutters to hi-jack planes and fly those planes into buildings.  It also leads to students being massacred like sheep at VAT and Columbine.

I say if you kill the aggressive spirit then you kill the spirit of self-defense.  If you kill the spirit of self-defense then you’re no better than sheep when the wolf shows up.  But then again maybe that’s what all levels of government/bureaucrats want, sheep.  Sheep are much easier to control than aggressive wolves who question things and if they don’t like the answers they rebel.

Edwards: Americans should sacrifice their SUVs…     Let’s sacrifice our politicians instead.  (Throw another politician on the fire honey, its getting colder)

‘I AM NOT GAY’…     Then why did you plead guilty to the lesser charge?  If I was accused of doing something I didn’t do I’d never plead guilty to even a lesser charge!

New red-light cams to cover all angles; catch you coming and going…     They make license plate covers that will fix this problem.  All the camera gets of the plate is a white glare.

Deported Mexican migrant mom asks to return as ‘peace ambassador’!…     Yeah right, any excuse to get back into the US!

UN: Mankind to blame for warming but can slow damage…     Mankind is not to blame for any warming.  This is all bullshit of the first water.  Junk science proves nothing!

NY Bridge Now Equipped With Anti-Suicide Phones…     I want to see this phone reach out and stop someone from jumping off the bridge!  A better idea would just be to tear down all the bridges, that makes as much sense as gun control does.  I say if you want to commit suicide, go for it, the gene pool needs cleaning up anyway.

UPDATE: Immigration raid arrests more than 160 at Ohio chicken plant…     Arrest who ever hired them and stick their ass in prison!

CBS sending anchorwoman [single mom] to Iraq, Syria…     Now we’ll have ‘blonde moments’ live and in color from Iraq!

UPDATE: Outcry over ‘home improvement’ jail sentence…     This is a ‘black & white issue’.  He knew he needed the permits and he didn’t obtain them, end of story.

Huckabee: Ban Public Place Smoking     First the came for the drinkers, then they came for the smokers, then they came for the trans-fat lovers, then next thing they come for will be your ‘bad attitude’.  It’s all about forcing people to do what others want them to do and I’ll be a rebel to the last on all of this.

Ex-Astronaut Planning Insanity Defense     Well on the face of it I’d say she was nuts, however I don’t think that’s a defense.  If you’re in enough control to plan it, then you don’t meet the legal criteria of insane.

Controversial Arab School to Open Next Week     There is no controversy.  This is pandering to the the ‘Islimes’ plain and simple.

Abu Ghraib Verdict Irks Rights Groups     If the ‘Moon-Bats’ were in control the human rights groups would be the first ones who would have their silly heads chopped off.

U.S. Troops Release Detained Iranians     Why?  Are we brain-dead or what?

Who do you want to see as President?     I vote for, “None Of The Above!”

I will not defend them      People are tired of lies, half-truths, and those who write half-assed articles like this one.

A Legacy of Legitimizing Torture      Torture has always been a legitimate tool of state policy.  If you know a prisoner knows Intel that will save thousands lives, you’re a fool if you don’t use torture to obtain that Intel.  Anyone who says different, is also your enemy.

NEW ORLEANS TODAY~~ TWO YEARS AFTER KATRINA     The thing to have done two years ago was to cut our loses and build a new city that is not below sea level!

US preparing ‘massive’ military attack against Iran     We can cripple Iran without using ground forces or nukes and we can keep them crippled for as long as is necessary.

Ahmadinejad dismisses threat of US attack     This moon-bat would do well to read some history before he dismisses anything.

MSM is Formally Accused of Felony Rico and Conspiracy Against Dr. Ron Paul     A clarion call for the wacko’s of the US political scene to unite!

The People Must Demand the Fair Tax

August 29th, 2007 . by Basti

The People Must Demand the Fair Tax

Last year, during the United States Senate race in Nebraska, Republican challenger Pete Ricketts suggested that every option must be considered when looking at ways to reform our federal tax system. Among the list of alternatives Ricketts said should be on the table was a national sales tax known simply as the “Fair Tax.”

The Democrat incumbent, U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson, launched an attack on his opponent that was, at best, distorted and condescending, and at worst, irrational demagoguery.  One would have thought that Ricketts had suggested stealing all the assets of the poor and handing them over to Warren Buffet and Bill Gates.

Recently, the panel of pundits on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” discussing the apparent rise in popularity of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s presidential campaign message, scoffed at Huckabee’s unabashed promotion of the Fair Tax.

George Will, the token “conservative” on the panel, brushed it aside with the disbelief of an elitist who cannot understand the burden of the average worker who would love to take home his or her entire paycheck, as the Fair Tax would allow him or her to do.  Will opined that Huckabee’s second place showing in the Iowa straw poll was even more amazing given the fact that “He supported a national sales tax of thirty percent, which means that if you buy a one million dollar house, you’ll be writing a check to the government for three hundred thousand dollars.” Of course, the others on the panel readily agreed.

The elites of this country, who buy those million-dollar homes, are not enamored with the Fair Tax. They would be if they took the time to understand its appeal.

The Fair Tax would replace all federal income taxes.  No more federal withholding.  No more Social Security withholding.  No more Medicare withholding.  No more stealing from the paychecks of American workers before they even see the paychecks, and then pretending to give them a refund, without interest, at the end of the year.  No more saving receipts for tax deductions.  No more IRS audits.  No more April 15 tax days .

Instead, the Fair Tax would put us in control.  All consumer items would be taxed.  Business purchases would not be taxed.  By allowing us to make the determination about what we buy and when we buy it, the ability of our legislators to manipulate our behavior is eliminated.  That is why the elites don’t like it.  They can’t control the public’s spending habits under such a system.

End Excerpt

I’ve heard this argument for a ‘fair tax’ over and over again and you can’t convince me that its a good idea.  When was the last time the Fed’s ‘fixed’ anything that made it better?  I can recall nothing that the Fed’s have ever ‘fixed’ that made anything better or in hindsight was a good idea.  Each time the operating systems of this county are tinkered with, the country as a whole runs worse.

As for the ‘Fair Tax’ I don’t believe its a good idea.  Today many lower income people don’t pay any taxes at all.  This stupid plan for some sort of vouchers for the low income would just add another level of bureaucracy to an already bloated Fed.  If we were to institute what amounts to a VAT tax then all and sundry would have to pay a tax on any item they purchased and this on top of state and local taxes. And not having corporations pay taxes is just a stupid idea or just another means to make the rich even richer.  It’s not like corporations are going to significantly lower prices because they would not have to pay taxes.  No any money that was saved from this plan would just go to the bottom line.

IMO, what needs to be done is rein in the spending of tax dollars for ‘pork items’ and vigorously prosecute those who steal tax dollars.  A bill in Congress should only address the issue at hand!  There should be no ‘riders’ or ‘add ons’ at all!  If you’re caught stealing or misappropriating tax dollars a minimum of 20 years in a Fed lock-up  (Hard time, not ‘Club Fed’) should be mandated, with no plead bargains allowed!

Just say no to the ‘fair tax’ as it just another scheme to rip off the American people while telling you its making things all better.  (Do you want to buy a $30,000 dollar car and write the Fed’s a check for $3000 dollars?  I know I don’t)
